Description
The Greycliff Rest Area Rehab project consists of the design and implementation of potable water and wastewater system improvements for the MDT Greycliff Eastbound and Westbound Rest Area facilities on each side of I-90 near RP 381.0. The project will address capacity, reliability, water quality, and regulatory compliance. Work includes reconfiguring the public water system to serve both facilities from a newly constructed and DEQ-approved public water supply well at the Westbound Rest Area; abandoning the existing Eastbound well; installing a new 5,000-gallon buried potable water storage tank; providing new water service piping between buildings; and installing redundant distribution pumps, controls, valves, and appurtenances necessary to meet projected maximum day and peak instantaneous demands in accordance with DEQ Circular DEQ-3. The project also includes replacement of the existing undersized on-site wastewater system with a new advanced Level 2 treatment system, including new septic tanks, an equalization tank, a dosing tank, effluent pumps, force mains, and a multi-zone pressure-dosed drainfield. This project is located in Sweetgrass County. Counties: Sweet Grass Eligibility: Eligible
