William R. Diggs Swimming Pool House Wall Repair - CIP# 410042 (Small Business Reserve Program)

The City of Frederick is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to perform repairs to a deteriorated exterior foundation wall at the William R. Diggs Swimming Pool House, 125 West All Saints St, Frederick, MD 21701. The pool wall has been maintained through patchwork and cleaning up until this point. A geotechnical engineering report and a structural engineer report have identified surface erosion, biological growth, and localized structural deterioration requiring remediation. The remediation must restore the integrity, durability, and appearance of the affected CMU foundation wall. Additionally, the work needed must prevent further moisture intrusion, weathering, and material degradation, and ensure the repaired wall meets building, structural, and safety standards. The awarded proposer will need to obtain a Commercial Alteration Permit.
