Description
Requirements: Purpose and Objectives: This order is for methylation and genotyping arrays produced and manufactured by Illumina. The methylation beadchips are designed specifically for studying methylation changes across the genome while the genotyping arrays are designed for studying genetic variation across the genome. The Center for Research on Genomics and Global Health will use methylation beadchips and genotyping arrays to study gene methylation, genetic variations, and methylation quantitative traits in previously recruited participants. The methylation and genotypes will be generated by the NHGRI Genomics Core, which has the necessary equipment and expertise for efficient processing of Illumina SNP beadchips. The Core has an Illumina iScan, Illumina Autoloader, and a Tecan Liquid Handling Robot for automated processing of samples. Period of Performance: This is a one-time-use product, and the genotyping is expected to be completed within 1-year. Contractor Requirements: The vendor shall provide: (3) Infinium Methylation EPIC v2 kits (96-sample kits) (3) Infinium Global Diversity Array -8 v1.0 Kit (96 samples)
