Hot Mix Asphalt Paving for Various County Roads

The purpose of this Invitation for Bid Document is for Wicomico County (“County”) to contract for labor, equipment and materials necessary to perform Work consisting of Milling of existing roads, hauling millings to the Wicomico County Roads Yard on Owens Branch Rd, Salisbury, MD and placing Surface Fine 9.5MM Hot Mix Asphalt Paving at various locations as indicated on the FY27 Paving Schedule in conformity with the requirements contained herein (“Bid Document(s)”). Work shall consist of Milling of existing asphalt roads, hauling millings to the Wicomico County Roads Yard, and providing and placing Hot Mix Asphalt Paving at various locations as indicated on the Road Schedule. The Road Schedule is an attachment to the contract documents. The Contractor shall be responsible for creating a smooth paved transition at all connecting roads and driveways within the specified paving areas. All transition work shall be considered incidental and not considered additional work. The Contractor shall conform to the Maryland Dept. of Transportation State Highway Administration “Standard Specifications for Construction & Materials” for Superpave, dated July 2008 or latest edition. Provide an overview of the Work that is being requested.
