East Wicomico Little League Fencing Replacement - FY27

Wicomico County Recreation, Parks and Tourism is seeking bids from qualified contractors for fencing improvements at East Wicomico Little League Park in Salisbury, Maryland, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications set forth in this solicitation. The County is requesting pricing for two fencing options: (A) traditional galvanized fencing and (B) black vinyl-coated fencing. Bidders shall provide pricing for each option as identified in the bid form and specifications. Both options include fencing improvements for Fields 1, 2, 3, and 4. Work includes the removal and replacement of existing chain-link fence fabric, top rails, tension wire, gates, and associated fencing components around the baseball/softball fields. Existing fence posts will remain in place and be reused unless otherwise specified. The project also includes new fencing and posts for the Field 1 home run fence. The project also includes the complete removal and replacement of the existing backstops, including posts and fencing. New straight backstops shall be installed without hoods, with each backstop measuring 30 feet high and varying in width by field as specified in the bid documents. The two pricing options represent the same overall project scope and field configurations, with the primary difference being the fencing materials, coatings, finishes, and related components required for the galvanized and black vinyl-coated fence systems. All labor, materials, equipment, removal, disposal, and installation necessary to provide a complete fencing system shall be included in the applicable bid price.
