SOURCES SOUGHT-Motorized Precision Pan-Tilt Positioner-REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) requires a motorized pan-tilt positioner, in accordance with attached minimum specifications, that will be utilized to mount sensing equipment such as cameras, calibration targets, weather equipment, etc., allowing the operational capability to pan and tilt the equipment remotely. This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought notice only. This is not a request for proposals, and no contract will be awarded directly from this announcement. The information gathered will be used to support acquisition planning and determine the feasibility of various small business set-asides. Organizations with the potential capacity to provide the requested supply item are asked to submit a written Capability Statement containing the following information: 1. Company Information: Organization name, physical address, email address, website address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization. 2. Technical Capability Statement: Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate technical documentation (such as product datasheets) supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. 3. CAGE Code: Active Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. 4. Socio-Economic Business Size: Size of business (e.g., Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, Woman-Owned, and/or Veteran-Owned). If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver the technical capability, organizations should clearly address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. NOTE: Only information provided in the written Capability Statement shall be considered during the market research phase. Capability Statements shall be submitted via e-mail to: lametria.r.smith.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 9:00 AM EST on 21 October 2026.
