This requirement is to procure the Precisely products and licenses for continued use within the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in support of the Unified Application Programming Interface (UAPI) effort. UAPI requires real-time streaming data for API consumption sourced from International Business Machines (IBM) Database 2 (Db2) for z/Operating System (z/OS). Due to the specialized nature of mainframe environments, it is essential to use a tool purpose-built for efficient, log-based change data capture. Precisely Connect Change Data Capture (CDC) is designed specifically to handle highvolume, low-latency CDC from Db2 for z/OS and other IRS data source and architecture technologies, ensuring reliable and continuous data availability for downstream services without introducing performance risks to core transactional systems and offers mainframe-native, low-latency, log-based change data capture technology specifically optimized for IBM DB2 z/OS and iSeries environments.
