Bauer Compressor Model CD/DV/MU high-pressure portable breathing air compressors

The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Damage Control Equipment Section, is seeking qualified sources that can provide thirty (30) Bauer CD/NAVY/DV/MU Compressors to supply breathing air onboard Coast Guard Cutters. This is a brand name restriction; therefore, it is the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate only with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Bauer Compressor Corp, or its authorized distributors. Substitute manufacturer products will not be accepted. Concerns that have the capability to provide these specific compressors as an authorized distributor may submit their capabilities, which the Agency will consider. Information submitted must clearly identify (1) the offeror's ability to provide the exact part number identified; (2) verification of status as an OEM authorized distributor; and (3) previous contract information where this item has been provided to the Government and/or commercial customers. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the information relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition. The submission of this data for review shall not impede the award of this contract. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.103-1.
