Vendor Questions and Answers Question 1: Please confirm whether the contractor is responsible for unloading, unpacking, moving the equipment to its final location, assembling the shelves and accessories, plugging in the units, completing startup, and performing temperature testing, or whether any of these activities will be handled by VA personnel. Answer: Yes. The contractor is responsible for unloading, unpacking, transporting the equipment to its final location, assembling shelves and accessories, plugging in the units, completing startup, and performing temperature testing. Question 2: Please confirm whether the required electrical outlets and connections are already installed and ready for use. If electrical modifications, new receptacles, circuits, hardwiring, or electrician services are required, please specify the work the contractor must include. Answer: Yes, standard 110 volt electrical outlets are available. If equipment requires a different electrical configuration, a new electrical outlet and connection will be needed.
