Description

The contractor shall inspect, diagnose, repair, and/or replace components associated with:  Front axle oil seals and hub assemblies.  Rear hub hardware and sealing components.  Transfer case replacement due to water contamination.  Transmission cooling line routing, leakage, and securement.  Fuel system components including injectors, fuel lines, fuel pressure solenoid, fuel rail pressure sensor, and transfer pump.  Crankcase ventilation system and crankcase filters.  Front main seal, oil pan seal, valve cover gaskets, EGR gaskets, and associated oil leak repairs.  Tie rod assemblies, kingpins, suspension shocks, steering lines, and brake components.  Alternator, batteries, belts, tensioners, cooling system service, and PM filters.  A/C system diagnostics, leak detection, evacuation, recharge, condenser, compressor, evaporator, hoses, drier, switches, and related HVAC components. The contractor shall inspect, repair, replace, and operationally test all fire suppression and pump-related systems including:  Pump primer system and associated cables.  Deck gun operation.  Intake swivel seals and air inlet fittings.  Pump panel electrical components and pressure governor display.  Drain valves, handles, labels, discharge caps, intake caps, fittings, and gauges.  Water leaks within pump systems, transfer plumbing, and tank fill hoses.  Air bleed valves and pressure gauges.  Ladder rack hold-down mechanisms and related locking hardware. The contractor shall diagnose, repair, replace, retrofit, and test emergency vehicle electrical systems including:  LED warning lights, stop/turn/reverse lighting, scene lighting, marker lights, compartment lights, and step lights.  Headlights, turn signals, warning beacons, and emergency master switch illumination.  Cab overhead lighting and rear compartment lighting.  Roll-up door switches, actuator proximity switches, and relay systems.  Streamlight charger bank wiring.  Pump panel switchgear and electrical controls.  Auto-eject systems, generator filters, and associated wiring deficiencies.  Exposed, loose, damaged, or improperly secured wiring throughout the apparatus. The contractor shall repair and/or replace:  Cab tilt locks, hold-down straps, and stay arms.  Mirrors, louvers, dash hardware, control knobs, vents, and interior components.  Rusted drain caps and corrosion beneath the front bumper.  Water tank/frame pads and compartment hardware.  Cord reel components, compartment shelves, and compartment latches. The contractor shall replace all tires identified as exceeding recommended NFPA service life requirements. Tire replacement shall include balancing, mounting, inspection of wheel assemblies, and operational road testing. The contractor shall perform a complete wheel brake service including rotors, drums, brake shoes, brake pads, chambers, slack adjusters, wheel seals, and all associated hardware necessary to return apparatus braking systems to safe operational condition. Upon completion of repairs, the contractor shall:  Perform complete operational testing of all repaired systems.  Conduct leak checks, electrical function verification, charging system testing, and brake inspections.  Verify proper operation of all emergency lighting, warning systems, and fire pump functions.  Road test apparatus to verify drivability, steering, braking, suspension, and transmission operation.  Correct deficiencies identified during final inspection prior to Government acceptance. The contractor shall provide:  Detailed repair invoices and parts breakdowns.  Documentation of all OEM replacement parts utilized.  Preventive maintenance records.  Test results and operational verification documentation.  Warranty information for labor and installed components. The contractor shall provide a minimum 90-day warranty on labor and pass through all applicable manufacturer warranties for replacement parts and equipment unless otherwise specified by the OEM.
