The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the fabrication and supply of ten Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composite structures for Brandon Road Lock and Dam, Joliet, Illinois, Des Plaines River. The gates include (2) 14 X 14 ft filling valves, (2) 14 X14 ft filling downstream bulkheads, (2) 8 X 8 ft flushing valves, (2) 8 X 8 ft flushing valve bulkheads, and (2) 16 X 16 ft dam headgates. NAICS Code: 326199 Size Standard: 750 employees 100% Small Business Set-Aside - Lowest Price Technically Acceptable It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued in September 2026. **06 October 2026: Pre-Solicitation Notice amended to notify interested vendors that the Notice ID/Solicitation Number has been updated from W912EK26RA007 to W912EK27RA001 to reflect the new fiscal year. If/when the solicitation is posted, the Notice ID will reflect W912EK27RA001 for this requirement. Additionally, it is now anticipated that the RFP will be issued in October 2026.
