Demolition of Structure at 512 N. Broadway

The City is looking to demolish an approximately 6,500 SF single story wood and light gauge metal frame structure with slab on grade and a metal roof. Also included in the scope, disconnection of the existing water service and disconnection and plugging of the existing sanitary sewer service, as specified in the Special Provisions as well as an alternate to remove over 8,500 SF (approximately 950 SY) of concrete pavement from the site. The awarded contractor shall be responsible for the disposal of all demolished materials in accordance with the project specifications. Electrical and gas services have been disconnected and removed and will not need to be addressed as part of this contract. Asbestos and Lead Paint testing were performed and it was determined that neither were present and therefore no abatement is required.
