The Aurora Fire Department (AFD) is soliciting formal bids to qualified vendors for the supply and delivery of structural firefighter bunker gear that complies with the current edition of NFPA 1970, Standard on Protective Ensembles for Structural and Proximity Firefighting . The equipment shall be new, unused, and manufactured to meet all applicable safety, performance, and certification requirements. Bids may include complete protective ensembles or individual components, including coats, pants, suspenders, boots, and helmets, as specified in the solicitation documents.
