The Hawai'i County Office of Aging (HCOA) is planning to obtain Legal Support Services for older individuals who reside in Hawai'i County. Contracts are planned to begin on or after October 01, 2026. The purpose of the Request for Information (RFI) is to assist HCOA in obtaining community input for the development of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for legal support services. HCOA is specifically interested in feedback and comments regarding the items listed below. We welcome additional comments and suggestions. 1. Provide comments on expected program expenses that may be reflected in an hourly unit rate, to provide legal advice, counseling and representation by an attorney or other person acting under the supervision of an attorney for individuals aged 60 and over. 2. What types of legal services are most needed for this population that you or your organization could provide.
