Mental Health Support for Homeless Children and Families

The State of Hawaii’s Department of Health Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division is requesting proposals from qualified Applicants to provide mental health support services to homeless children and their families along the Waianae Coast which is defined as the Waianae-Nanakuli Complex areas of the island of Oahu, including those who live along the beach. For purposes of this Request for Proposals, homeless children are defined as any person up to twenty-one years of age, who lacks a fixed, regular, and adequate night-time residence. These include those who live in motels, hotels, beaches or camping grounds due to the lack of alternative adequate accommodations, are in other temporary living situations, or are sharing the housing of others.
