HCOA.2026.LEGAL.01 Legal Assistance Services

The Hawai‘i County Office of Aging (HCOA) is requesting proposals from qualified applicants to provide Legal Assistance. The intention of this project is to provide legal assistance on issues such as income security, health care, long-term care, nutrition, housing, utilities, protective services, defense of guardianship, abuse, neglect, and age discrimination. Legal assistance is targeted towards older individuals in social and economic need. Legal services funded under the Older Americans Act (OAA) are designed to empower older persons to remain independent, healthy, and safe within their homes and communities, for as long as possible.
