The Reverse Industry Day will provide an opportunity for FED and industry to exchange perspectives, real-world experiences, challenges, and lessons learned related to improving project delivery timelines, controlling costs, enhancing collaboration, and achieving successful project outcomes. Sales presentations, promotional materials, and marketing-focused capability briefings are not appropriate. Firms should not provide proprietary, confidential, or restricted information. Information shared may be treated as publicly releasable and may be used by USACE, FED to inform future acquisition strategies, project delivery approaches, market research, and solicitation development. This event does not constitute an RFP, IFB, RFQ, or other Government commitment, and no procurement decisions or contract awards will result from the event. Participation is voluntary and will not affect eligibility for future acquisitions. The Government will not reimburse any costs associated with responding to this notice or participating in the event. Background: USACE FED is exploring innovative acquisition and project delivery approaches to address complex requirements, accelerated schedules, cost pressures, and the need for greater collaboration and flexibility. Building on industry experience with approaches such as Progressive Design-Build (PDB), Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), and Other Transaction Authority (OTA), FED seeks direct industry feedback to help inform future acquisition strategies and improve project delivery outcomes. Event Objective: This Reverse Industry Day is designed to provide industry with a platform to: Share real-world experiences and lessons learned from innovative and non-traditional acquisition and project delivery approaches. Discuss implementation strategies, challenges, risks, and potential solutions. Offer recommendations and feedback to help inform future FED acquisition strategies and project delivery approaches. Market Intelligence and Industry Insights Agenda: Presentations will be conducted in English only, with slides displayed in both English and Korean. Due to time constraints, interpretation will not be provided during the presentations; however, interpretation will be available during the Q&A and discussion periods. Morning (0900–1215): The Government will provide brief educational presentations on Alternative Delivery Methods (ADMs), including PDB, OTA, industrialized construction methodologies, an overview of real-world technical and acquisition challenges, followed by an open discussion between the Government and industry participants. Lunch (1215–1330): Off-site / On Your Own Afternoon (1330–1530): The Government will present representative future project scenarios. The moderator will facilitate discussions with industry participants on how the approaches discussed during the morning session could be applied to these scenarios. The event will conclude with a networking session. Project #1: [TBD] Project #2: [TBD] Project #3: [TBD] Companies are highly encouraged to submit any questions, concerns, or suggested discussion topics in advance, particularly those for which they would like to receive a Government response or clarification during the Reverse Industry Day. FED/Korea Challenges (See the attached Government Questions) Please review the attached questions in advance and come prepared to participate in an open discussion during the event. Formal presentations or written responses are not required. The questions are intended to guide the discussion and encourage the exchange of ideas, experiences, and industry perspectives. Who Should Attend Industry partners with demonstrated experience or expertise in: Progressive Design-Build (PDB) Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Other Transaction Authorities (OTA) Alternative or innovative project delivery methods Share Your Experience with Us If interested, we would like to provide you an opportunity to share with us your presentation (5-10 minutes) on a successful project using an innovative design and construction method or a proven Korean commercial or government practice. If so, please submit a brief summary of the project, including the innovative methods used, key benefits achieved (e.g., schedule, cost, or quality), and challenges overcome, by 23 September 2026 at 3:00 PM (KST) to CT-BOBranch@usace.army.mil. The Government will review the submissions and select up to three (3) companies to present at Reverse Industry Day. There is no limit on the number of virtual participants.
