Description
The City of Mableton is seeking a highly qualified, multidisciplinary consulting firm to lead the development of the City¿s first Sustainability and Greenspace Master Plan. As one of Georgia¿s newest municipalities, Mableton has a unique opportunity to establish a forward-looking framework that protects natural resources, strengthens community resilience, expands access to quality greenspaces, and guides responsible growth for years to come. The planning process must be inclusive, data-informed, and responsive to the needs of Mableton¿s diverse neighborhoods, residents, businesses, institutions, and community partners. The Master Plan will establish a coordinated vision for environmental sustainability and greenspace preservation while translating that vision into practical and achievable actions. The completed Plan must include clearly defined goals, policy recommendations, priority projects, implementation strategies, responsible parties, potential funding sources, estimated resource requirements, performance measures, and short-, medium-, and long-term milestones. Recommendations should be structured for implementation over a five- to ten-year period and aligned with the City¿s broader goal of fostering a vibrant, healthy, equitable, and environmentally responsible community through innovative leadership and sustainable municipal practices.
