Request for Qualifications Architectural Services Monroe Co Jail Expansion

Monroe County, Georgia, is soliciting sealed Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified architectural firms for professional services related to the expansion of the Monroe County Jail located in Forsyth, Georgia. Services will include planning, design, engineering coordination, permitting assistance, and construction phase support. This solicitation is being conducted as a Qualifications Based Selection (QBS) process in accordance with O.C.G.A. § 50 22 1 et seq., governing procurement of architectural and engineering services in the State of Georgia. The RFQ package may be obtained beginning October 1, 2026 from Monroe County Commissioner's office , Purchasing Department, 38 W Main St, Forsyth, GA 31029 from 9-4 am Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. A mandatory pre submission meeting will be held on October 13, 2026, 11:00 A.M. at the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, 145 L. Cary Bittick Drive, Forsyth, Georgia 31029. Attendance is required for firms wishing to submit qualifications. Sealed Statements of Qualifications must be delivered to the Monroe County Commissioners Office, Attn: Purchasing Department, 38 West main Street, 2nd Floor, Forsyth, Georgia 31029, no later than December 4, 2026, 11:00 A.M.
