ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Worth County Economic Development Authority Industrial Complex East Road Construction Project Sealed bids will be received by the Worth County Economic Development Authority (EDA) until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 122 N. Main Street, Sylvester, GA 31791, or at W&A Engineering, 355 Oneta Street, Suite D100, Athens, GA 30601. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening. Scope of Work: The proposed project consists of roadway and infrastructure improvements for the Worth County GRAD Select Site Industrial Complex in Sylvester, Georgia. Work includes grading, base and asphalt paving, storm drainage installation, construction of a retaining wall, guardrail installation, pavement markings and signage, sanitary sewer and water system extensions, erosion and sedimentation control measures, and all associated traffic control and site stabilization necessary to support development of the industrial site. BID Documents and Construction Plans are available by emailing jmcclellan@waengineering.com at the link provided. Bidders must be on record as having attended the Mandatory Pre-BID Conference and have received complete bidding documents to be considered. All contractors must be licensed in the State of Georgia. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond of not less than 10% of the bid amount. A successful bidder will be required to provide 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. All bonds must comply with the U.S. Treasury Circular 570. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held June 19, 2026, from 11:00 AM¿12:00 PM at 122 N. Main Street, Sylvester, GA.
