Description
The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Corrections (DOC) will shortly undergo a Multi-Step Sealed Bid process comprised of a prequalification phase as the initial step, followed by an Invitation for Bid (IFB) towards the procurement of a licensed Dentist with significant general practice experience and a minimum of five years in correctional dentistry to manage an essential component of inmate healthcare. Services must be provided within strict clinical timelines, including screenings, examinations, hygienist services, and treatment delivery when medically necessary. The need further includes continuity of care, emergency response, medication prescribing, inmate education, and maintaining dental standards consistent with ACA accreditation requirements. Interested firms will be evaluated during the prequalification phase to determine whether they meet the minimum requirements. The City¿s expectation is that the selected vendor will provide professional, consistent and reliable service. A Pre-Solicitation Conference will be noticed and held to provide more details and address questions. We hope to see you there.
