REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FROM DESIGN BUILDERS FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION AND REMODELING OF THE GILMER COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER Gilmer County, Georgia is soliciting proposals from design builders to provide Architectural/Engineering design services, pre-construction consulting services and construction and remodel services for a county facility at the existing Gilmer County Animal Shelter Complex located at 4152 Highway 52 East, Ellijay, Georgia 30536. Submittals are to be sealed, marked with the offeror¿s name and address and labeled: ¿PROPOSAL FOR DESIGN BUILD FOR GILMER COUNTY NEW ANIMAL SHELTER BUILDINGS AND REMODEL EXISTING BUILDING¿ and delivered no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2026, to: Gilmer County Commissioners¿ Office Edwina Daman, County Clerk 822 Industrial Blvd, Suite 200 Ellijay, GA 30540 Proposals received after 2:00 p.m. on that day will not be considered. Gilmer County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to accept complete or partial proposals, to accept partial proposals from different proposers, all at the sole election of and determined to be in the best interest of the County by the Commissioners, and to waive any irregularities there under. At the discretion of the Board, and in conformity with the applicable provisions of Georgia law, the Board may afford offerors the opportunity for subsequent discussion, negotiations and revisions of proposals.
