Description

This Request for Quotes (RFQ or Sourcing Event) is being issued to establish a contract with a one or more qualified supplier who will meet the State Entity¿s needs as described in this Sourcing Event. This RFQ process will be conducted to gather and evaluate responses from supplier for potential award. All qualified suppliers are invited to participate by submitting responses, as further defined below. After evaluating all suppliers¿ responses received prior to the closing date of this Sourcing Event and resolution of any contract exceptions, the preliminary results of the RFQ process will be publicly announced, including the names of all participating suppliers and the evaluation results. Subject to the protest process, final contract award(s) will be publicly announced thereafter. Middle Georgia State University (MGA), is an FAA certified Part 141/61 flight training school with campuses located in Eastman and Macon, GA. In operation for over 25 years, the school has continually grown and currently operates 67 airplanes and helicopters for flight training. We have over 500 students and fly approximately 20,000+ hours per year. MGA is seeking one or more FAA certified propeller and prop governor overhaul/repair suppliers to provide propeller overhaul services for the propellers listed in the product line item section. The contract term will align with MGA¿s fiscal year (July 1¿June 30). The initial contract period will begin on the date of award, and end on June 30, 2027, with the option to renew for up to four (4), one¿year terms.
