PUTNAM COUNTY SOLICITATION # 26-35001-002 Harvesting of Merchantable Pine Timber The Putnam County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed bids for the harvesting of merchantable pine timber from an approximately 0.509 acre site located behind the Crooked Creek Fire Station at 158 Crooked Creek Drive, Eatonton, Georgia. The approximate harvest area is outlined in red in the image included in the bid package. All care should be given to the existing hardwoods on the tract to minimize any unnecessary damage to the hardwood trees on the property. The successful bidder is expected to offset the amount of their bid with the value of the merchantable timber. Prospective bidders must obtain a bid package from the Putnam County Board of Commissioners via the county website: www.putnamcountyga.us/rfps Proposals must be submitted on the proposal form issued by Putnam County and contained in the bid package. Proposals must be received by Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. The proposals will be read at that time.
