The Georgia Department of Agriculture ¿ Laboratory Division is seeking to replace an aging and outdated environmental conditions monitoring system used to monitor fifty-eight (58) critical units within laboratories located in Tifton, Georgia, and Atlanta, Georgia. The critical units that must be monitored for correct environmental conditions include refrigerators, freezers, ultra-low freezers, incubators, forced-air drying ovens, and laboratory rooms. Conditions to be monitored include temperature and humidity (laboratory room-specific). The signal from the supplier-offered system must be compatible with facilities constructed from different materials, including a cement block building. Suppliers may be required to provide catalog pages, manufacturer information, and/or specification sheets for the manufacturer listed in the Cost Worksheet. Failure to furnish required data may be considered a cause for rejection of the Supplier¿s offer.
