City of Poulan FY 2025-2027 LMIG/LRA- Resurfacing Improvements to Church Street

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID CITY OF POULAN, GEORGIA FY 2025 (LRA), 2026 (LMIG & LRA), & 2027 LOCAL MAINTENANCE & IMPROVEMENT GRANT (LMIG) SWE PROJECT #25-3587 LEVELING AND RESURFACING IMPROVEMENTS TO: CHURCH STREET Separate, sealed Bids will be received for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of Leveling and Resurfacing Improvements to Church Street located in the City of Poulan, Georgia. All improvements will be funded by the city¿s Fiscal Year 2025 (LRA), 2026 (LMIG & LRA), and 2027 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG). Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 pm (local time), Thursday, November 19, 2026, at which time bids will be opened and read. The meeting will be held at the City of Poulan Council Room located at 208 West Broad Street, Poulan, Georgia 31781 and will be opened to the public. Proposals can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Shanna Entrekin, City Clerk for the City of Poulan at P.O. Box 69 or 204 Hunton Street SW, Poulan, Georgia 31781. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. The City of Poulan may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids. The Scope of Work Includes: Leveling and Resurfacing Improvements to Church Street from Tabernacle Street to Flint Street (0.715 Miles) All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Poulan in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Poulan Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All work on the project must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days from the date of the NTP.
