2025 Millen CDBG (PE24101)

Sealed bids for construction of 2025 Millen CDBG will be received until October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the City of Millen City Hall at 919 College Ave, Millen, Georgia 30442 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work shall consist of furnishing all products and equipment and performing all labor necessary to perform the following: Sanitary sewerage system rehabilitation including, but not limited to, replacing clay sewer mains with approximately 848-LF of 8¿ HDPE sewer mains using the pipe burst method as well as sewer lateral replacement and manhole rehabilitation. Water system improvements including, but not limited to, installation of 530-LF of 6¿ C-900 PVC water main, connecting to the existing system, and longside and shortside laterals. Drainage improvements including, but not limited to, installation of 945-LF of 24¿ rollover curb and gutter, 560-LF of 18¿ storm pipe, and 30-LF of 15¿ storm pipe. The project will also consist of curb inlets, grate inlets, roadway pavement overlay, sediment control, and grassing. Time allotted for completion of work is one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. The Contractor shall have a GA Utility Contractor's license. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier¿s check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. Funding by CDBG & City of Millen. This project is a Section 3 covered contract. Section 3 businesses are encouraged to apply. This contract is subject to BABAA.
