Description
The City of Winter Park ("City") is seeking qualified firms to provide wood pole inspection, condition assessment, pole stabilization/bracing, joint-use attachment inventory, and related support services for the City’s electric distribution system. The project is intended to improve system reliability, safety, and asset management by evaluating pole condition, identifying deterioration, documenting third-party attachments, stabilizing deficient poles where appropriate, and supporting future replacement planning. The City is interested in inspection methodologies that include non-destructive evaluation techniques, including ultrasonic or equivalent technologies, to assess internal pole condition. Services may also include installation of pole bracing or stabilization systems for structurally deficient poles, documentation of joint-use attachments, and identification of poles eligible for NJUNS coordination where electric facilities have been removed. The selected Respondent shall provide electronic reporting and deliverables to support utility records, maintenance planning, and capital improvement efforts.
