Vendor: Hilton University of Florida Conference Center Gainesville Justification: The Hilton University of Florida Conference Center Gainesville can meet the specific requirements of these two events, including general session space, 10–15 breakout rooms, accommodations for approximately 80–150 participants, and lodging availability during the scheduled dates. FDOE has previously utilized this facility for similar professional learning events. Based on the information provided by FDOE, the other Gainesville hotels on NEFEC's preapproved list do not meet the space and operational requirements for these events. NEFEC intends to post this Single Source notice to determine whether other qualified facilities can meet the same requirements within the required dates and budget. This request applies only to the two identified events and does not establish an exclusive arrangement for future events.
