Description
The City of Tampa (“City”) operates a diverse fleet of Light, Medium, and Heavy Trucks, Construction Equipment, and Industrial Equipment to support essential municipal services, including public safety, emergency response, and daily City operations. While the City’s Fleet Maintenance Division (FMD) is responsible for routine maintenance and repair, there are periods of increased workload, emergency situations, or extenuating circumstances that require supplemental repair services beyond the FMD's capacity. The City is seeking qualified and experienced Proposer (s) to provide reliable, timely, and cost-effective repair and maintenance ser vices for diesel vehicles and diesel equipment. The City of Tampa's fleet includes a wide range of makes and models from 1984 to the current model year. Services include, but are not limited to, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, repairs, and parts replace ment, and inspections all performed in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards. The Successful Proposer (s) will work under the direction of the City’s FMD to ensure fleet readiness, minimize vehicle downtime, support critical City operations, provide labor, parts, and associated shop supplies. Also the Successful Proposer (s) shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and laws/local regulations, and deliver services in a professional and efficient manner.
