On-Line Auction Services for Miscellaneous Surplus - Revenue

Pinellas County is seeking to establish a contract with a qualified online auction service provider offering a comprehensive web-based auction system for the sale of miscellaneous surplus equipment to include but not limited to computers, monitors, printers, tools, construction equipment, furniture, etc. The objective with an online auction service program is as follows: Reduction in on-hand surplus inventory and related inventory carrying costs Increase market presence and bidder base Increase bid price for auction items Ease of online auction program administration, including but not limited to posting and marketing of auctions, receiving payment from bidders, blocking bidders and invoicing. Proposers are encouraged to provide creative solutions and to identify additional areas (scope, requirements and fees).
