LETTING LOCATION: TPK HDQ POSTING DATES: 11/24/2026 and 12/08/2026 CONTRACT DAYS: 292 CONTRACT EXECUTION DAYS: 10 SPECIAL START DATE: N/A ACQUIS./FLEXIBLE START TIME: 30 Work consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary for interim improvements to the Northbound SR 91 off-ramp connecting to Southbound SR 429 in Orange County (MP 267A). The project is designed to extend the operational life of the existing Northbound Florida Turnpike approach to SR 429 and increase capacity at a significantly lower cost than major roadway and bridge reconstruction. The project consists of restriping the existing Ramp E and the Ramp I flyover bridge carrying Northbound Florida Turnpike traffic to Southbound SR 429 from a single lane to a two-lane facility. During peak afternoon periods, recurring congestion and queueing develop on the Northbound Turnpike mainline South of the SR 429 interchange. The proposed restriping improvement will increase the number of lanes on the flyover and provide near-term congestion relief while deferring the need for more extensive and costly infrastructure improvements.
