LETTING LOCATION: 1074 Hwy 90 Chipley POSTING DATES: 10/29/2026 and 11/12/2026 CONTRACT DAYS: CONTRACT EXECUTION DAYS: 10 SPECIAL START DATE: N/A ACQUIS./FLEXIBLE START TIME: 150 Days The work under this Work Document-Driven Contract is on limited access and primary roads in Gadsden and Leon Counties and consists of the removal and replacement of existing fencing. All work will be on a call out basis, authorized by Work Document. The budget estimate for this contract is $300,000.00. The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each bid item. The Department estimated quantities and the Contractors bid price will be used to calculate a total bid amount. This total bid amount will then be used to determine the low bidder, however, actual payment under the awarded contract will be based on actual quantities completed. For this Contract in which specific sites are not identified at the time of letting, the Engineer will issue a Work Document. Work Documents will identify the location, description, amount of work to be accomplished, and the number of calendar days to complete the work. A Proposal Guaranty will be required on indefinite quantity contracts, such as work document driven contracts, with a Departments advertised estimate amount greater than $150,000 regardless of the bid amount.
