LETTING LOCATION: 1109 South Marion Avenue POSTING DATES: 12/07/2026 and 12/14/2026 CONTRACT DAYS: 850 CONTRACT EXECUTION DAYS: 10 SPECIAL START DATE: N/A ACQUIS./FLEXIBLE START TIME: 15 Days (acq. time) The work under this Contract consists of the improvements to furnish, install and establish highway landscaping and irrigation at SR 16 at I95 (SR9). EXPERIENCE IN LANDSCAPING (FORM 850-070-09) MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED WITH THE BID. PREQUALIFICATION NOT REQUIRED. LUMP SUM. SPECIAL BID REQUIREMENT: District 2 has opted to adopt Special Bid Requirements for all District Landscape Projects. We are stipulating that there are five (5) items that must be acknowledged and completed to the District at the time of each bid for the bidder to be considered responsive. 1. All required documents listed below for numbers 2 and 3 must be dated within the last five (5) calendar years. 2. One (1) letter of reference from a government agency or an independent business that states: ? The bidder has completed a landscape project of at least $500,000. ? The reference must state the project was satisfactory. 3. Three (3) letters of endorsement from three (3) independent Landscape Architects who are currently licensed in the State of Florida. ? Each letter shall include the Landscape Architect signature. ? Each letter shall include the Landscape Architect license number. ? Each letter shall speak about the quality of work performed.
