LETTING LOCATION: 1074 Hwy 90 Chipley POSTING DATES: 12/03/2026 and 12/17/2026 CONTRACT DAYS: CONTRACT EXECUTION DAYS: 10 SPECIAL START DATE: N/A ACQUIS./FLEXIBLE START TIME: 15 Days The improvements under this Work Document-Driven Contract consists of the removal and/or replacement of reflective pavement markers, thermoplastic stripes and symbols in Jackson and Washington Counties on a callout basis. All items removed shall be replaced by the end of the workday. This work may require daytime or nighttime operations as determined by the Engineer and directed on each work document. Bidder Qualifications for Pavement Marking Repair and Replacement are required to be submitted with bid. The budget estimate amount for this contract is $350,000.00. The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each bid item. The Department estimated quantities and the Contractors bid price will be used to calculate a total bid amount. This total bid amount will then be used to determine the low bidder, however, actual payment under the awarded contract will be based on actual quantities completed. For this Contract in which specific sites are not identified at the time of letting, the Engineer will issue a Work Document. Work Documents will identify the location, description, amount of work to be accomplished, and the number of calendar days to complete the work. A Proposal Guaranty will be required on indefinite quantity contracts, such as work document driven contracts, with a Departments advertised budget estimate amount greater than $150,000 regardless of the bid amount.
