Description
The Town of Davie Utilities (Town) owns and operates the Town of Davie Water Reclamation Facility (WRF), which includes influent bar screens and grit removal, anoxic tanks, pre-aeration tanks, membrane filter tanks, and high-level disinfection using ultraviolet (UV) light. The WRF has a permitted capacity of 3.5 million gallons per day (MGD) and discharges effluent through public access reuse (PAR) or underground injection. The Town is exploring alternative water supply (AWS) options, including potable reuse. At this time, The Town is seeking a certified testing laboratory to provide sampling bottle drop off, pickup and analysis for a direct potable reuse pilot. The pilot study will continue until August 15, 2029, with the ability to extend the contract if the pilot deems successful.
