Intent to Single Source for Plattco Corporation Replacement Parts and Components

The City of Tampa Solid Waste & Environmental Program Management Department intends to single source Plattco Corporation replacement parts and components for the use at McKay Bay Waste to Energy (WTE) Facility because only OEM parts and components can provide satisfactory repairs to these valves. WTE currently has 24 fabric filter double dump valves, 16 super heat single dump valves, and 4 SDA slide gate valve sets in place. Plattco Corporation is the sole distributor and direct markets the products.
