FDOH, Nassau County Health Department, Environmental Health Division has a need to purchase a fully automated desktop microbiological testing water system that is U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved, including supplies, service plan, training, and installation services. The system is accredited by the Bureau of Public Health Laboratories to perform microbiological testing on potable and non-potable water. Section 381.006 F.S., mandates that Environmental Health department consist of a drinking water function and support determinations by the State Health Officer of safe levels of contaminants in water. In accordance with Chapter 60A1.045, F.A.C. The Florida Department of Health, (EPH), requests authorization to purchase a fully automated desktop microbiological water testing system, which included supplies, service plan, training, and installation services from Idexx, Inc.
