Description
The City of St. Petersburg is seeking proposals for an advanced Energy Management Software platform capable of centralizing and enhancing the City's oversight of all municipal utility accounts. The objective is to implement an automated solution that improves energy monitoring, operational efficiency, and long‑term sustainability planning. The desired platform must automatically integrate with the utility provider’s billing systems, allowing real‑time access to consumption data and historical usage trends. A key requirement is the ability to generate alerts when overconsumption or abnormal usage patterns occur within any City building, enabling rapid identification and resolution of inefficiencies, such as leaks or equipment failures. In addition to monitoring functionality, the software must support robust project management capabilities for energy efficiency initiatives. This includes tools for setting goals, tracking progress, and evaluating return‑on‑investment for upgrades or improvements. It is preferred that the platform also seamlessly integrate with existing City infrastructure, including solar panel systems and electric vehicle (EV) chargers, while offering intuitive graphical data displays and forecasting abilities. Scalability is essential, as the City intends to expand use of the platform to meet evolving operational and sustainability needs.
