Description
The City of Hialeah is soliciting bids from qualified and experienced contractors for a critical, turn-key power resilience project at the City of Hialeah Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and backup 911 call center. The core of this project is the furnishing, installation, and commissioning of a new 400 kW diesel generator system to replace an existing unit within a dedicated generator room. The contractor will be responsible for safely removing the existing generator and associated transfer switch for the City's reuse, providing the new generator, all required switchgear, wiring, and conduit to properly connect various components to the existing power distribution at the facility to ensure reliable, uninterrupted backup power for these mission-critical services in case of a power outage. Respondents must be authorized dealers who can manage all aspects of the installation, from engineering and permitting to certified documentation, including structural anchoring compliance, to ensure a seamless transition.
