LETTING LOCATION: D4 POSTING DATES: 08/25/2026 and 09/01/2026 CONTRACT DAYS: 1022 CONTRACT EXECUTION DAYS: 10 SPECIAL START DATE: N/A ACQUIS./FLEXIBLE START TIME: 120 The Improvements under this Contract consist of provide an additional mainline track within the South Florida Rail Corridor (SFRC) from just north of the Hialeah Market Tri-Rail Station (Milepost 1035.96) to north of the Tri-Rail Miami Airport Station (Milepost 1037.21) located within the Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The project also includes the replacement of the existing bascule bridge over the Miami River with twin fixed single-track bridges. Other improvements include upgrade to the railroad signals, Positive Train Control (PTC), and five at-grade roadway railroad crossings at the Old NW 28 Street, NW South River Drive, NW North River Drive, NW 36 Street and NW 46 Street. Work along crossing streets includes milling, resurfacing, pavement reconstruction, drainage, sidewalk, signing and pavement markings. The existing west side platform at the Hialeah Market Tri-Rail Station will be replaced with a new center platform passenger boarding area with a continuous canopy and at-grade pedestrian crossings. ?PRE-QUALIFIED: Contractor must be pre-qualified in Railroad Construction. ?MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: BROWARD OPERATIONS CENTER LOCATED AT 5548 NW 9th AVENUE, FORT LAUDERDALE, FL 33309, JUNE 10, 2026 @ 09:30 am All bidders must be present and signed in prior to the start of the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Anyone not signed in at the commencement of the meeting will be considered late and will not be allowed to bid on the project. EXPERIENCE FORM REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED AFTER THE MANADORY PRE-BID MEETING: Contractor Experience Form must be submitted ONE WEEK after the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting.
