On Friday, September 18, 2026, the Department advertised PUR 7778: FDOT Notice of Intended Decision to Enter Into a Single Source Contract with Central Mine Equipment Company, for the purchase of a Drill Rig (Solicitation Number DOT-SS-27-9015-DG). It is the Department's decision to withdraw the aforementioned intended award. Pursuant to Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, any person adversely affected by the agency decision or intended decision shall file with the agency a notice of protest in writing within 72 hours after the posting of the notice of decision or intended decision. Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120, Florida Statutes.
