LETTING LOCATION: Contracts Administration Office POSTING DATES: 01/14/2027 and 01/21/2027 CONTRACT DAYS: 435 CONTRACT EXECUTION DAYS: 10 SPECIAL START DATE: N/A ACQUIS./FLEXIBLE START TIME: 120 Days Flexible The improvements under this Contract (FPID 452939-1-52-01) consist of resurfacing SR 63 (US 27/Monroe St) from SR 263 (Capital Cir) to N of John Knox Rd in Leon County. This project will primarily consist of milling and resurfacing the existing travel lanes, auxiliary lanes, median crossovers, and paved shoulders. In addition to the resurfacing, the scope of services for this project includes median access changes, sidewalk additions, signalization improvements, and addresses design deficiencies such as deficient sidewalks, non-compliant curb ramps, clear space requirements, and pedestrian signal features. The project will include restriping of existing Bridge #550068 and Bridge #550085 over SR 8 (I-10). There are no proposed improvements to Bridge Culvert #550003 over Meginnis Arm. Utility Work by Highway Contractor will include adjustments to manholes and valves owned by the City of Tallahassee Water and Sewer under FPID 452939-1-52-02, City of Tallahassee Power under FPID 452939-1-52-03, and CenturyLink aka Lumen (Local) under FPID 452939-1-52-04.
