Hernando County Utilities Department's wastewater treatment facilities accumulate un-stabilized wastewater residual that requires removal and transportation to a Residuals Management Facility, on an as needed basis. The biosolid materials are generated at three (3) wastewater treatment facilities throughout Hernando County.
