Sole Source Justification for Maritime Security Risk Analysis Model (MSRAM) Data Analysis and Risk Mapping Support Services

The award is a sole-source, logical follow-on task order issued under FAR 8.401(b), FAR Class Deviation 25-20 R1 for FAR Part 8, GSAR 538.7104-3(b)(iii), and HSAM 3008.401-71(a). In the interest of economy and efficiency, it is a logical follow-on to a Federal Supply Schedule order previously issued on a competitive basis. The order is necessary to ensure continuity of Maritime Security Risk Analysis Model database support services while the competitive follow-on BPA and task order are completed. Award to ABSG Consulting, Inc. avoids transition risk, prevents disruption to critical support services, and maintains continuity of ongoing maritime security risk analysis operations. This contract action is firm fixed-price.
