DH10--Notice of Intent to Sole Source Signos Continuous Glucose Monitoring - GLP 1 Alternative Pilot

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, on behalf of VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VASNHCS) located 3801 Miranda Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304-1290 is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industry contractors of the Government s intent to award a sole source contract under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The intended contractor is Signos, INC., 937 Menlo Avenue, Menlo Park, California 94306-2516, United States. VAPAHCS is seeking to negotiate a sole source award to Signos, INC. for Continuous Glucose Monitoring System technology with an AI driven mobile application platform as a potential non pharmacological intervention to support weight management and metabolic health among Veterans. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is, 518210 Computing Infrastructure Providers, Data Processing, Web Hosting and Related Services. Product of Service Code for this requirement is DH10 IT and Telecom Platform as a Service: Database, Mainframe, Middleware. The 2022 Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for this sector is $40.0 Million. This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available, and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made based on unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must be able to prove that provides clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. Additionally, all responses must address all aspects of the attached Performance Work Statement and the salient characteristics. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
