Description
The Department of War (DoW) is issuing this presolicitation notice for a brand-name Bauer Breathing Air Compressor System to support fire department emergency operations. The system must meet NFPA 1901 and 1989 standards, featuring a 15-25 HP motor, 6,000 PSI capacity, three SCBA fill stations, a 100-foot high-pressure hose reel, and an automatic condensate drain. A brand-name specification is required to ensure compatibility and maintain warranties under active service contract FA449725C0008. This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and PSC 4310 (Compressors and Vacuum Pumps). Pursuant to FAR 12.201-1(c)(2), the Government plans to utilize simplified commercial procedures by publicizing this notice, orally soliciting quotations directly from interested suppliers to maximize efficiency. The anticipated award date is October 1, 2026. Interested vendors are requested to email the Points of Contact (POCs). Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
