Hardware/Software Maintenance Agreement for Sony Switcher Equipment

This solicitation notice is to comply with the requirements of FAR 5.102(b)(1). This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responsible sources may submit a quote. Quotes received after 3:00 pm ET, on November 2, 2018 will NOT be considered by the Government. A determination whether to further compete this requirement based upon responses received, is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Responses to this notice, if any, must show clear and convincing evidence that additional competition would be advantageous to the Government. Inquires will only be accepted via email to agray@usagm.gov and jacosta@usagm.gov. The United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) located in Washington, D.C., intends to negotiate and award a firm fixed price purchase order to Strategic Communications. ChyronHego is a small business and an authorized reseller of the Sony Support Retrieval Switchers. The North American Identification Classification System (NAICS) code is 541519, and the size standard is $27.5 dollars. The proposed contract action is for a service maintenance agreement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one under the authority of 6.302-1(c) and 13.106-1(b).
