Description
General scope of services for the Parking Violation System shall include, but not be limited to the following: Provide and maintain vehicle immobilization devices (“boots”). Provide back-end systems to monitor and manage the immobilization devices. Provide training and support to City staff, as required, for the operation of the program. Coordinate with existing enforcement systems to develop scofflaw lists. Provide the ability to meet notification requirements to the last known registered owner of a vehicle. Provide computer software, or an equivalent system, that will allows the City to monitor system performance, while meeting the City’s cybersecurity and integration requirements. Provide reporting capabilities that allow the City to comply with reporting requirements as set forth by City of New Haven ordinances and the internal reporting and tracking requirement of the City of New Haven’s Department of Transportation, Traffic and Parking. Provide a portal or interface that allows fines and/or fees to be paid and processed electronically and enables the violator to self-release the boot. Provide appropriate integration of fine and/or fee payments into the existing City of New Haven accounts receivable infrastructure.
