The City of Meriden requests bids from qualified contractors to inspect, inventory, maintain and repair streetlights in the City of Meriden. The City of Meriden owns and maintains a street light network consisting of approximately: 4,200 LED streetlights (LED cobra heads installed in 2016). 300 LED decorative street lights. 100 LED post top streetlights (on fiberglass pole). 50 non‑LED flood lights. 750 poles (mostly underground electric service).
